SBVC just got approved to offer OUR VERY FIRST BACHELOR'S DEGREE! During the historic meeting of the California Community Colleges Board of Governors (BOG) at SBVC on September 23, our bachelor's degree in Water Resources Management was officially approved! ?? This groundbreaking program will equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in the vital field of water resources management. By offering this degree, SBVC is not only enhancing educational opportunities but also addressing critical workforce needs in our community. We look forward to launching this program and preparing our students for high-wage careers that will benefit our students, their families and our region. OMG!! I am beyond excited for our community! San Bernardino Valley College (SBVC) has always been such a vital resource for so many of us, and now offering a bachelor’s degree demonstrates the incredible impact it continues to have. This is a game-changer for access to higher education in our community, and I’m so proud to see SBVC leading the way! This will open doors and create opportunities for so many. I am a alumni maybe there will be more options to get a bachelor degree in other fields.
I graduated from there in 1998 and I'm so happy for them. I love the fire they lit inside of me as an adult learner. This I'm sure will help many more students realize their dream. Congratulations ?? ???? ?? ?? ??
