The usual shift will be 8:00am to 12:00pm. You are the ideal candidate if you have 1-2 years of maintenance experience and can multi-task while staying organized and professional. If you are a self-starter, mature, and self-motivated individual who can work independently and with a team, then we would love to hear from you. ResponsibilitiesMaintains the building interior and exterior which include completing minor janitorial duties.Maintains all buildings in good working condition including the auction lanes.Maintains building equipment, water treatment facility, operations equipment and machinery by following a maintenance schedule consisting of inspection, cleaning and replacement of defective or used parts.Ensures the maintenance of the lot and parking lots, completing lawn and surrounding landscape maintenance and may remove trash.Monitors equipment and parts to identify current and future requirements and places orders.Ensures equipment, electrical, plumbing and heating are operational by conducting regular inspections and completing minor repairs.Monitors necessary inventory levels and places orders.Other duties may apply such as assisting the Lot Operations team in keeping the yard organized.Educational/Experience RequirementsPrevious maintenance experience requiredWorking knowledge of maintenance equipmentMust be a self-starter and take initiativeAbility to work independentlyHeavy lifting requiredCriminal Record Check completed and cleared by OPENLANE / ADESA is mandatoryWe appreciate all applications, however, only the candidates selected for interview will be contacted.
