CV and LinkedIn Reviews....after working as a recruiter for about a month, I've seen a lot of CVs, resumes, and LinkedIn profiles. So many aspiring MSLs have reached out for advice on 'landing' their first role. Getting your CV and LinkedIn profile in great shape is an action item you can take TODAY! This document is something I created last year for pharmacy students from my alma mater who were interested in the pharmaceutical industry / Medical Science Liaison roles. It certainly applies to aspiring and current MSLs and several colleagues recently used it when 'Spring Cleaning" their CVs. NOTE: This is just a guide and my own personal opinion. Great list. For those coming from the lab/academic research, I would also add: don’t list all the lab techniques you are skilled in or include all your publications on your CV (maybe have a link to a list of your publications) - these things are just not as relevant if you’re applying for MSL positions.
