Would You Pay ?20,00,000 to Work at Zomato — for a ?0 Salary? Yes, you read that right. Deepinder Goyal just announced a Chief of Staff vacancy for himself at Zomato, but the job comes with a huge twist. Here’s the deal: No salary for Year 1. Instead, you’ll have to pay ?20,00,000 upfront for this role, and this amount will be donated to Feeding India (Zomato's charitable arm) Zomato, in turn, will contribute ?50 lakhs (equivalent to the CoS salary) from their pocket to a charity of your choice.
