Key Account Manager - E-commerce/Quick-Commerce (FMCG Experience Required)
Location: Mumbai, Andheri East
Salary: Up to 10 LPA
About the Role:
We are looking for a Key Account Manager (KAM) - E-commerce with a strong background in the FMCG sector. The KAM will be responsible for managing key e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa, BigBasket, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Management
? Develop and execute monthly plans to drive revenue growth on e-commerce platforms, ensuring profit targets are met.
? Oversee end-to-end management of sales across multiple marketplaces, specifically FMCG products.
? Monitor KPIs, including P&L responsibility for e-commerce sales in the FMCG category.
Promotions & Brand Strategy
? Implement the brand’s e-commerce strategy to boost visibility and sales, with a focus on FMCG sector-specific promotions.
? Design and execute promotional strategies to enhance brand recognition.
Liaising & Relationship Management
? Build and nurture relationships with marketplace account managers, ensuring partnerships that drive increased preference for FMCG products.
? Identify new opportunities for growth and expansion in the FMCG space.
Analytics & Reporting
? Monitor competitor activity and market trends within the FMCG industry to stay ahead.
? Analyze sales trends, conversion metrics, and performance data to provide actionable insights for growth.
? Continuously track and optimize platform performance to achieve revenue targets.
Skills and Competencies:
Technical Skills
? Strong analytical skills to interpret data and trends in the FMCG sector.
? Proficiency in advanced Excel and other data analysis tools.
? Experience managing budgets, KPIs, and ROI optimization for e-commerce platforms focused on FMCG products.
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in negotiations with external stakeholders.
Core Competencies
? Commercially driven, with a strategic mindset to deliver results for FMCG brands.
? Ability to adapt to a fast-paced e-commerce environment and make data-driven decisions.
? Strong collaboration skills with internal teams like supply chain, marketing, finance, and product.
? Excellent stakeholder management, particularly in the FMCG sector.
Reporting & Stakeholders:
Reports to: Director of E-commerce / E-commerce Manager
Internal Stakeholders: Distribution/Supply Chain, Growth/Marketing, Finance, Product
External Stakeholders: Account managers from e-commerce platforms and vendors
