We're excited to welcome Tianyu Yang, EIT to the Sanbell team as our newest Staff Engineer II! Tianyu holds an M.S. in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture. Tianyu has worked in the civil engineering field for over five years, and we can't wait to see what he accomplishes as part of the Sanbell team! Welcome Tianyu! #Sanbell #SanbellCSTP #PleasantonCA #CivilEngineering

In today's rapidly evolving world, the collaboration between academia and industry is more crucial than ever. Recently, we had the privilege of hosting Richard Brooks from Waterman Group on the topic of sustainable bridge here at Anglia Ruskin University. Why does this matter? 1. Students gained invaluable insights from experts actively shaping our infrastructure's future. Bridging theoretical knowledge with practical applications sparks innovation and fresh perspectives. 2. As the global community increasingly prioritizes environmental impacts, learning from industry leaders in sustainable bridge structure projects emphasizes the importance of green engineering principles in creating resilient infrastructure. 3. Encouraging dialogue between students and professionals fosters networking opportunities, paving the way for future collaborations and career guidance. 4. Through expert interaction, students experience firsthand how diverse disciplines contribute to groundbreaking projects. A big thank you to Waterman Group for sharing their expertise and passion with us. Thanks for Dr Shadi Ostovari PhD CEng MICE and Dr Marina Boz for making this happen. Let's continue building bridges—not only of the physical ones but of knowledge and collaboration too! ????? #SustainableEngineering #BridgeConstruction #IndustryAndAcademia #Networking #Innovation #FutureLeaders #livebrief
Last week I had the pleasure to attend Richard Brooks session as part of the Live Brief on Sustainable Conceptual Design for Civil Engineering led by Dr Shadi Ostovari PhD CEng MICE. Richard is an award-winning civil engineer and the National Lead for Civil Structures at Waterman Group. His Live Brief session was a masterclass on sustainable design of bridges based on the PAS 2080, with excellent insights from one of his bridge case studies that our second year students in Civil Engineering will be able to apply when working on their green bridge brief. Hello Connections , Today, I am thrilled and elated to announce that my paper, "LEAN CONSTRUCTION: FUNDAMENTALS, PRINCIPLES, AND CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS," has been published in the "International Journal of Research Publication and Reviews". This is the same paper that secured me second place at the national level technical fest Stepcone 2024 at GMRIT, Rajam. This achievement has profoundly inspired and motivated me to delve deeper into innovative concepts and contribute to research-oriented journals in the field of Civil Engineering.

Alhamdulillah. I am happy to inform you that our recent publication, a conference proceeding published at the 7th International Conference on Civil Engineering for Sustainable Development (ICCESD 2024), is now online. Feel free to read and cite the article from the link below. ?????????????? (???????????? ??????????????) ????????: https://lnkd.in/gYCdcKMG Mistakenly the initially submitted version of the manuscript was uploaded online instead of the revised version by the conference committee. However, you can find the revised version of the manuscript from the link below. ?????????????? (?????????????? ??????????????) ????????: https://lnkd.in/gyF7ZCsG

My pleasure in sharing with the concerns that my last publication stood out to the editorial board of the Journal of Civil Engineering and Architecture, USA. It is available online with publisher SPRINGER NATURE. It was my first attempt at the understanding of the crustal configuration of Bengal basin. Without understanding that our seismic hazard analysis might be misleading to the users like civil engineers and urban/industrial planners and executives. Exaggeration of seismic hazards can be a dangerous negative impact for a nation. https://lnkd.in/evDgc9bZ
