SAMU First Response is seeking a proactive and dynamic Senior Human Resources Manager. In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for all aspects of human resources management, including talent acquisition, onboarding/offboarding, employee relations, performance management, compliance, compensation and benefits, HR strategy, and organizational development. You will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, management, and employees, fostering a positive workplace culture while ensuring adherence to employment laws and regulations. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required. Masters degree preferred.? - A minimum of 8 years of experience in human resources, preferably in a generalist role as an HR department of one.? - English fluency required, a second language is preferred (Spanish, French, etc.)? - Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR best practices.? - Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.? - Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.? - Experience with HR software and applicant tracking systems.? - Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.? - Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize multiple tasks.? - Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass required background checks and health screenings (drugs, alcohol, TB).? - Must be vaccinated for COVID-19 and able to work in-person within the DMV area, with occasional travel/accompaniment to other locations.
