At Sam’s Club, we believe every idea — big or small — has the power to ignite change, move retail forward and help us better serve our members. Our teams are pioneering new innovations and continue to explore the intersection of technology, design thinking and creative collaboration to solve problems for members and associates - it sets us apart from the competition. That’s why last week, we held our second annual Re:imagine retail conference, hosted in our new Clubhouse design studio. Over two days, we welcomed product and design professionals and students who were able to get hands-on with design thinking, ideating and prototyping solutions that re-envision the future of retail. https://lnkd.in/gqBFq9Xi
I worked at Sam's Club for a couple months. If Mr Walton was still alive today I'm sure he would not be pleased. Management sucks, it's all about cya. Coming from a life safety background my short tenure there exposed over 60 electrical, fire, employee and customer hazards that management was not willing to address. Resulting in minor abrasions and recently the death of a 19 year old girl in a walk-in oven! You're more likely to survive walking the streets of Miami at 2:00 a.m. then to be an employee at Sam's or Walmart.
I be happy if the stores had more of a choice in some of the items they carry.
Can someone check into them cheating on their food safety certification testing in the Atlanta district?
This sounds amazing! ?? The intersection of technology and design thinking in retail is so exciting. I can't wait to see the innovative solutions that come out of events like this. Kudos to Sam's Club for leading the way. ????
Amazing
Hosting the ReRetail conference sounds like a valuable way to bring fresh ideas to the table, Sam's Club!

4 周That's a crock full of whatever crap you can think of! In my 23 years with the company, I started thinking what a great company to work for, but than you started changing in a bad way! There's managers that should never be in their positions. They have no idea what they are doing. You have regional and area managers that are clueless on how the business is moving in their region or area! Your dependent on A.I. produce ignorant and lazy managers, assistants and associates. All you did was find ways for you to make more money for yourselves and screw all your hard working associates that are keeping your company afloat!
