Physical stores of the early 2000s era lacked discoverability and convenience. This gave way to e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Flipkart. Traditional e-commerce made life easy, but now customers wanted more after getting used to online shopping. They wanted quick doorstep delivery. This gave way to quick commerce like Blinkit and Zepto. But now customers want even more. They want to experience products before purchase. What do you think should come next? #comingsoon #flipkart. #amazon. #zepto. #blinkit. #ecommerce #newlaunch #startup

"Can Amazon Keep Up with the Quick Commerce Rush? A Clash of Impulse and Discovery! ??" With the rise of quick commerce platforms like Blinkit and Zepto, I’m finding myself turning to these apps more often for impulse purchases. The convenience of quickly searching and ordering exactly what I need is shifting my behavior. ?? A few years ago, Amazon and Flipkart were go-to apps for purchases, but now they feel more like discovery platforms. Quick commerce apps, on the other hand, focus on immediacy—you search for exactly what you want. Here are some of my observations: E-Commerce ? Reviews ? ? Comprehensive product names and specifications ?? ? Categories featured on the top of the home page ??? ? Easy replacements and refunds ?? Quick Commerce apps prioritize ? Repeat purchases and immediate needs ?? ? Categories appearing later in the Home page ??? These features indicate that E-commerce focuses on building trust through detailed information and customer support, while quick commerce is more about immediate and specific needs where it doesn’t need to mention too many details about the product because the customers know exactly what they are looking for and probably have searched for the same. ?? Do you see any other features which indicate the same? What do you think? Will Amazon remain a platform for discovering unique products, while quick commerce handles impulse and precise needs? Or could quick commerce evolve to include discovery with improved design? #amazon #flipkart #zepto #blinkit #Quickcommerce #startups #change

The classic innovator's dilemma - Amazon started their model in the late 90s and had Walmart and Target on the back foot within a decade. Now we have a new class of retailers upping the ante for the giants. Thanks Yesh Subramanian for sharing Chetan K. Prakash Mukundan #RetTech #RetailInnovation #QCommerce

The next logical step is to be able to 'lend' stuff instantaneously, that will really address the reckless consumerism! We all purchase so many things that we use once in a few months/weeks, for example many of the tools like drills etc. Why would we buy it if I can borrow it when I need it? 'instantaneous lending' will only be a simple extension for these companies! But imagine the impact it can have on consumer product companies!!

Amazon and Walmart have already won online retail media. The only way they can gain a bigger advantage is if other retailers are duped into trying to compete with them in that space vs. focusing their resources on the far bigger, far more tangible opportunity that exists right inside their own stores. "Want It? Get It—In 10 Minutes!" Welcome to the age of instant gratification. Quick commerce platforms like Zepto, BlinkIt, and BigBasket aren't just about groceries anymore—they're delivering iPhones in 10 minutes. The era of waiting 3-4 days for deliveries? Gone. Today, convenience is king. Consumers want their products in hand at lightning speed, and platforms are racing to meet this demand. It’s not just about fast delivery; it’s about meeting the evolving expectations of customers who no longer have the patience for traditional e-commerce timelines. As a founder, it’s clear—quick commerce is the future. People don’t just want fast; they want instant. This shift in consumer behavior is opening doors for startups that can think fast, innovate faster, and deliver quickest. Whether it's an iPhone, groceries, or fashion, speed is now a key selling point. But here’s the catch: It's not enough to simply be fast. You need to add your unique spin to stand out in this fiercely competitive space. What can you offer that makes your platform irresistible? What added value can you bring that others haven’t thought of yet? The game isn’t just about speed—it’s about being smart, strategic, and forward-thinking. Quick commerce is hot right now, and for startup founders, this is the moment to seize the opportunity, innovate, and deliver solutions that make life easier for consumers. "Think fast, act faster—because in the world of quick commerce, every minute counts!" #QuickCommerce #StartupLife #Innovation #MobileAppDevelopment #FastDelivery

Have you seen this Ad? …….........? You might think this ad doesn't mean much, but it raises questions about Amazon's strategy. Despite being the market leader in e-commerce, Amazon is promoting same-day delivery for over a million products. Is Amazon feeling vulnerable to quick commerce companies? Is Amazon trying to break into the quick commerce segment by showcasing a broader catalog than Blinkit, Instamart (Swiggy), and Zepto? However, the quick commerce market, with its 10-15 minute deliveries, still outpaces same-day delivery in terms of speed. Hundreds of startups like ShopClues, Snapdeal | AceVector Group, and Paytm Mall have failed in the e-commerce market due to competition from Amazon and Flipkart (or some other factors also). We've seen the rapid growth of Blinkit in the past months and the variety of products ranging from PS5 to Free Dhaniya. Is Blinkit going to achieve the impossible? Blinkit has strategically cracked the Indian market by focusing on upper-class users who prioritize convenience. With an average order value (AOV) of around Rs 630, Blinkit is moving towards profitability, and their dark stores are no longer cash-burning warehouses. What's your take on this ? Is quick commerce going to outperform traditional e-commerce in the coming years??? Do share your thoughts in comments ??.

?? The Next Evolution in Quick Commerce: Why Speed Isn't Enough In the race for faster delivery, we might be missing the bigger picture. Here's why the next disruption in e-commerce won't just be about speed - it'll be about smart speed. Jeff Bezos once said: "Customers will never want higher prices, less selection, or slower delivery." Yet today's Quick Commerce players have sacrificed selection for speed. Here's why that's about to change: ?? The Current Reality: -10-minute delivery promise -Limited selection (2,000-3,000 SKUs) -Higher operational costs -Restricted by dark store model ?? The Next Wave: Smart Quick Commerce Imagine combining the speed of Zepto with the selection of Amazon. Impossible? Not anymore. Here's how the next evolution works: ?? The Power of Local Partnerships (3P Model): -Local stores become micro-fulfillment centers -Platforms provide tech & delivery infrastructure -Partners manage inventory & product selection -Real-time availability across thousands of SKUs ?? Why It Works: -Zero warehouse costs -Wider product selection -Faster market expansion -Reduced capital needs ?? The Math Makes Sense: 1 Dark Store = ~3,000 SKUs 1 Local Supermarket = ~8,000 SKUs 10 Partner Stores = 50,000+ SKUs = 25x selection without additional inventory cost Just as Amazon transformed e-commerce through 3P, we're reimagining local retail, one neighborhood at a time. ?? Looking Ahead: The next big player won't just be another Zepto clone. It'll be whoever cracks the code. It won't just be faster. It'll be: Faster + Smarter + Bigger selection What's your take on the future of Quick Commerce? How do you see the integration of local retail networks playing out in this space? #QuickCommerce #FutureOfRetail #Innovation #Ecommerce #RetailTech #StartupIndia
