Fundraising can really drag on if you aren't intentional and in control. Today, we* spoke about how to create a sense of urgency and pace when you've got the right investor ingredients in place. The ability to stop others taking control of your fundraise is a technique and skill that you can refine. A few ways you can do this: - Deep networking. You've got the investor in front of you, now how do you create influence on them elsewhere? - You've pitched and they're interested. How do you use target close dates and updates to speed the process up and close up? - Send the right signals. Got angels or funds that create the right optics and momentum?
