This week Sacramento Youth Center launches the 2024 Peer Mentoring Training for the Sacramento County Office of Education! 120 youth will be served this month! Our team of interns and staff are in the classrooms preparing the next generation of Educators, Mental, and Behavioral health leaders. ??

Sacramento Youth Center (SYC), a nonprofit organization, is revolutionizing youth enrichment and support in North Sacramento. 4 years ago we dreamed of a moment that took place today. We imagined how this space at 1901 Del Paso Blvd could become a community asset for the youth of Sacramento. Today we purchased the Sacramento Youth Center building and the dream is now a reality! We want to thank the youth who bring this space alive with hope and vibrancy. This is for you and the future that you hold in your mind's eye. We also want to thank our staff who serve the community with great care. Thank you to our volunteers and donors who give to this work. Café Manager will report to Sacramento Youth Center Operations Lead to fulfill all aspects of the coffee bar in accordance with the vision and mission of Sacramento Youth Center. The manager works with Café Staff/intern Baristas to promote coffee consumption by educating customers; selling coffee & food; other product. Leads/Develops the café Staff/Interns in workforce development; Oversees the success of the Café program and café growth.
