The #LouisianaChildCareParentPoll, conducted by United Way of Southeast Louisiana, LA Education, The Louisiana Policy Institute for Children, and Agenda for Children, is available in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese and only takes a few minutes to fill out. Child care is vital for economic resilience by enabling more individuals to work and contribute to community growth. This survey will create a better understanding of the child care needs of families with children under the age of 5 and will allow these groups to advocate for policies that best address parent needs. The next government must ensure ALL antenatal and early years practitioners are empowered and supported to promote shared reading. We know it can make a huge difference to families - but practitioners need access to resources and guidance to make the biggest impact. Our support, tools and training in shared reading must be available to all early years practitioners, particularly in areas where there are high numbers of children from low income families. Find out more about what needs to happen in #ReadingTogether: https://lnkd.in/eGrhVb9a #EarlyYears #EarlyYearsPractitioners #SharedReading #Families #GeneralElection
