The report aims to uncover what families want, need, and value in terms of early care and education. It also explores the parents' perspectives on what they need for their children's growth and success, the obstacles they face in accessing quality care and education, and the existing supports available to them. The #LouisianaChildCareParentPoll, conducted by United Way of Southeast Louisiana, LA Education, The Louisiana Policy Institute for Children, and Agenda for Children, is available in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese and only takes a few minutes to fill out. Child care is vital for economic resilience by enabling more individuals to work and contribute to community growth. This survey will create a better understanding of the child care needs of families with children under the age of 5 and will allow these groups to advocate for policies that best address parent needs.
