Introducing... the Decom Mission Board of Directors. A familiar face to many of you, Graham Dallas was elected to the Decom Mission Board in December 2023, in his capacity as Leader of the Decommissioning Leadership Group (DLG). No stranger to Decom Mission, Graham has been a part of the DLG’s People special interest group (SIG) for the past two years, and a member of our organisation for considerably longer.??Added to his significant industry and decom-specific experience, he’s also well versed in chairing industry groups, setting their goals and achieving results. Talking of results, we asked him what he hopes the DLG will achieve under his leadership… “Key to the DLG’s direction will be the responses gathered in Decom Mission’s?upcoming annual survey. Designed to provide an accurate reflection of the current state of the decommisioning supply network across the energy industry, it is of direct relevance to our organisation, informing the subject matter and make up of our SIGs and providing insight into the challenges we need to focus on and opportunities we need to optimise. “We’ll also be consolidating our intra-industry relationships, working closely with groups such as the Emerging Professionals in Late Life and Decommissioning network (a joint initiative facilitated by Decom Mission, Offshore Energies UK and Xodus), and Women in Decommissioning (WiD). “Whether it takes the form of answers to technical challenges, innovative recruitment solutions, HSE lessons learned or relationship facilitation, my keenly-anticipated challenge is to ensure I’m guiding the DLG to reflect Decom Mission’s overarching objective in all that is does - delivering value to our members. “Get in touch with me directly if you’d like to find out more.” #decommissioning #energy
