?? Celebrating 6 Months at KPMG Switzerland! ?? This week marks exactly six months since I started my journey as a Social Media and Digital Marketing Specialist at KPMG Switzerland, and reflecting on this period, I am filled with immense #Gratitude and excitement for the future. I'd love to share some of the things I'm especially grateful for: ????♀? Being part of the #DigitalHeroes dream team, where we strike the perfect balance between hard work and enjoying the little things, and celebrate every win – big and small – keeping our #TeamSpirit vibrant and strong. Thanks to Harry for being an exceptional leader. ?? When mandatory trainings drop into my inbox, my first thoughts are often a mixture of "cool topic" and "ugh, another thing on my plate". Reframing this narrative, I feel fortunate to belong to a company that prioritizes cross cultural communication and forever, ground-up, and iterative improvement. In my two months at Deloitte, I have witnessed a company dedicated to trying to make the world a better place. So today I trained a Sales Programme at my long-standing client’s new temporary offices in the Deloitte building. As you can imagine, with such a large dramatic move there were all the teething problems with technology, navigating new spaces etc. One of my teachings today was that anyone can pull it off when things go smoothly, but the REAL test is when things go awry. That is when you are tested to see how you cope under pressure, how agile and resourceful you are, and if you can actually lead through diversity. If you pass these tests, trust, respect and credibility all go up exponentially. ??? #salestraining #copingskills

??Seizing Opportunities: My Journey with Deloitte’s Centre of Excellence?? Last year, I took a leap of faith and joined Deloitte. Recently, I had an experience that reinforced the value of taking chances and believing in oneself. I applied for a secondment in the Centre of Excellence, focusing on auditing share-based payments and EPS for audit clients. Initially, I didn't fully consider the steps involved, but to my surprise, I received an interview call. Approaching the interview with confidence, despite my short tenure at Deloitte, I realized the power of staying calm and collected. The approval process was rigorous, involving discussions with multiple managers. At times, I wondered how I would balance responsibilities across departments. I decided to trust the process, communicate openly, and leave the rest to time and luck. A few days later, I was thrilled (and a bit confused) to receive an email confirming my selection. Working with two clients in this new department for several months was a drastic learning experience. Managing work as an expert, collaborating with clients, valuation specialists, and team members, and meeting deadlines was incredibly fulfilling. The positive feedback I received highlighted the significance of this achievement. **Key Lessons Learned:** 1. Take chances: Paths will create themselves. 2. Trust yourself: Believe in your abilities. 3. Keep learning: Continuous improvement is essential. 4. Communication is key: Effective communication is vital. 5. Ask questions early: Avoid repeated queries. 6. Seize opportunities: Grab them as they come. 7. Embrace confusion: Sometimes, it can be a blessing. 8. Value feedback: It can work wonders with supportive seniors. This journey taught me the importance of stepping out of my comfort zone.
