This small system with very strong pressure is very interesting.
You wouldn't like to do this job, would you? ?? No worries, these robots got your back! Cleaning robots for pipelines can navigate autonomously both inside and outside. ?? These operations can be remotely controlled by personnel or managed by autonomous algorithms that allow robots to perform the task by themselves! High sensitivity is often touted as a benefit in robot safety, but it can sometimes be a disadvantage. When we talk about sensitivity, the amount of force it takes to get a robot to stop, we also need to talk about reliability, the likelihood that the stop function works as it should. An ultra-sensitive robot may face a lot of 'nuisance stops' caused by minor disturbances like a loose cable or an accidental touch. Nuisance stops in itself isn’t really a safety problem, but they kill productivity and can annoy users enough to bypass or disable the safety function altogether. Generally speaking, a well-designed safety function should strike a balance - it should be sensitive enough to ensure safety but not so sensitive that it encourages workers to circumvent it. The very best safety functions are the ones which keep you safe, without you ever noticing.
