The ?? stories. A series about growing fruit and people. This one is about the value of internships. When I first started growling tomatoes I’d go to the nursery and buy my plants. But often some failed and others produced little fruit. Today I grow all my tomatoe plants from Heirloom seeds. I care for each plant, thining, pruning and carefully transitioning them outside. Now, none of my plants fail. This makes me think about the challenges hiring early career professionals. We both tried our best but often, it didn’t work out. If I’d instead invest in a few interns we would have built a relationship from the start, snipping and pruning each other, so we both got the results we’d hope for. I have taken a lot of agriculture related CTE classes, including animal science and AG leadership, these classes have both given me knowledge and skills that are helpful in this internship, I learned a lot about being a leader and working with people through my AG leadership class. It makes it easier to communicate with people and teach kids, it gave me experience talking to people, creating lessons, and being confident, this helps me with my internship a lot. #nebointerns?#utahcteinternships?#internships?#shhsinterns

Students and Farmers unite to create regionally and culturally clustered networks of "direct from farm" food brands. Every farm is a potential brand. Every farmer is a potential brand. Every region has recipes that are potential billion$ brands. Startup Innovation in the farming and animal husbandry sector is what we are gunning for. There is a huge opportunity for a chemical-free green and white revolution. GoBhooMe is our solution.
