I had the pleasure of listening to Tugay Güzel and Umut Yildiz share their journey and work at Plan-S Satellite and Space Technologies at a talk moderated by Tambi Jalouqa. Did you know they launched their first satellite in only 8 months? And now they do it in a fraction of that! The applications and use cases for satellite technologies are endless and most importantly, the plan is getting them even more affordable with years to come - cost being one of the biggest challenges. It’s not often that we see such balance between technical expertise and business acumen by founders which I think plays a key role in their success. My main takeaway? Dream big. While Jordan still has a long way to go in fields such as space technology, we’ve seen time and time again that goals that seem of reach are worth the investment of time and resources. What are some “impossible” fields or goals you think we can invest in more?
