Tragedies test our resilience, and once again, I’m reminded of the extraordinary commitment of our teams, Global Medical Response, American Medical Response, and REACH Air Medical Services Our NorCal and broader Pacific region operations prepared and formed strike teams to assist Los Angeles; however, the LA team ultimately did not require additional support. Instead, the combined Los Angeles County operations—AMR & McCormick—rallied both on- and off-duty personnel to provide swift, effective relief, with more teams likely to be deployed in the days ahead. We are a community, and our employee foundation stands ready to assist. When it comes to answering the question "What do you do?" It gets complicated*! In a week I could be coaching a client to excel on the stage. Helping someone get over their fear of networking and that elevator pitch. Training business owners on no cost marketing. Networking via my confidential mastermind group and sharing leads that lead to hundreds of thousands of pounds of new business. I could be helping someone set up a blog or write their first book and get a publisher to take them seriously. I could be working with a really stressed out team who have stupid deadlines right now and are working silly hours, so they work less and get more done with less stress. I could be talking about overwhelm or I could be talking about how to be confident. Or I could be email coaching on one of my 14 courses. gen z humor ?? government public affairs ? Creating a fun space for followers and employees has always been a top priority for me throughout my education and work experience. Every year, staff at VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System are encouraged to complete the All Employee Survey (#AES), providing critical feedback on employee satisfaction. As a new employee, I approached this challenge creatively, implementing new communication ideas for staff participation. This year, we introduced engaging videos, graphics, and even convinced the Executive Director to dye his hair and ELT to participate in dunk tanks.???? Change doesn't happen overnight, and without feedback, we risk stagnation. And this year's U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs All Employee Survey was a game-changer! ?? Nearly 90% of TVHS employees participated, setting a record for TVHS and the VISN. Developing this campaign was immensely enjoyable, and it's gratifying to see how our efforts will bring about real change. Together, we're creating a workplace where #dedication meets #laughter.
