Hey everyone, if you've noticed that I've recently updated my LinkedIn profile, you'll see that I indicated Data Guru as one of the elements of that profile. So what I'm doing today is to share with you some insight, some tips and tricks about how I move around excel quickly. To save time. To save file space and other things. Because if you save seconds every day, you can save minutes every week, hours every month, potentially days every year. So what this file depicts is basic sales data indicating a code. A state, a quantity, a date, and a Peace Prize. But what you don't see is a total sales value. For instance, you should see a total sales value of around $400.00 in row two. OK, so here's one way to do it. You might know this one. Most people probably do equal this. Times this. Here's our value. We're creating a helper column here. Excel's really slow for me right now, not sure why. All right, we can total that entire row. And I'll show you. Some of the things I'm doing here to move around quickly. Having frozen pains helps move me around more quickly. I've already frozen on column one, so there's my total, but I've got another way of looking at this. I'll just say equal sum, going to highlight the entire quantity range. I'm going to multiply it. By the entire peace price range. And justice like that. Without a helper column I've got my result.
