Your Espresso Martini just got an upgrade. Actually, any coffee cocktail, if we’re being honest. ?????? Recently, we introduced our Bartender’s Espresso Blend in partnership with Chris Leavitt aka?@NotJustABartender. Chris was one of the first cocktail creators we sent our products to when we initially launched, so it was a natural fit to collaborate and come up with something special together. This blend is a medium roast made up of beans that originate from Nicaragua, El Salvador, Colombia and Brazil. The profile is very balanced and acts as a solid base for any cocktail (or mocktail). Flavor notes include subtle sweetness, dark chocolate, cajeta, and a touch of tart berry. Check it out: https://lnkd.in/gPB6X4As Since launch, we've enjoyed watching the content from Chris, and just last week brought him to Austin for an event at The Long Goodbye. We're hoping to bring this collab/blend to restaurants and bars across the country soon!

?? **Why Double Shots Are the Heart of Every Great Café Experience** ?? Ever wonder why a *double shot* is the gold standard in most cafes? It's more than just a trend – it's a carefully crafted choice that brings out the best in every cup. Here's why the double espresso shot has become *THE* go-to for coffee lovers and baristas alike: 1?? **Rich Flavor**: A double shot delivers a bold, balanced flavor that truly shines, even in milk-based drinks like lattes and cappuccinos. It’s the ideal base to keep that delicious coffee taste front and center. 2?? **Consistency**: A double shot makes it easy to standardize recipes across locations, so you can expect the same quality every time, whether you’re in a local spot or your favorite chain. 3?? **Customer Demand**: Let’s face it – we crave that caffeine boost! The double shot meets the expectation for a stronger, more energizing kick to get us through busy days. 4?? **Efficiency for Baristas**: Modern espresso machines are designed with doubles in mind, letting baristas work faster and serve customers quicker during peak hours. A double shot isn’t just a drink; it’s a coffee experience that’s been fine-tuned to perfection. Next time you’re in line, sip your coffee with a little extra appreciation for the art behind every shot. ??? #CoffeeCulture #DoubleEspresso #BaristaLife #CustomerExperience #Café

JAMESON BLACK BARREL 2024 BARTENDER SERIES “THE TREASURE BENEATH” Recipe: Jameson Black Barrel Seeet Potato Cordial Home made Apple Cider Vinegar Soda Sweet Potato Chilli Tincture Garnish: Sweet Potato Chilli upcycled chip Glassware: Japanese Highball The choice of sweet potato in cocktails complementing Jameson Black Barrel whiskey likely stems from the sweet and earthy flavors of sweet potato enhancing the rich and robust notes of the Jameson Black Barrel whiskey. Additionally, the sweetness of the sweet potato can balance out the whiskey's oakiness and spice, creating a harmonious and enjoyable drinking experience. It's all about finding complementary flavors that elevate the overall taste profile of the cocktail. It's all about experimentation and discovering new flavor combinations that work well together. My inspiration for using sweet potato in a cocktail could have come from a desire to experiment with unique and flavorful ingredients and adding a touch of seasonal flair to the drink. Sweet potato offers a rich, earthy sweetness that complements the cocktail, making it an intriguing choice to use. The garnish for the drink is aimed for sustainability. The leftover of the Sweet potato chilli tincture was then layered on a dehydrated sheet and dehydrated. Later shaped and fried to a chip. #JamesonBartenderSeries2024 #Competition #Bartenders #JamesonBlackBarrel

Ask for a long black in a coffee shop and you’ll get something that might look similar to an americano at first glance. Dig a little deeper, however, and you’ll realise there’s a difference. Just like the americano, the long black is an espresso-based drink. The ingredients are the same in both: espresso and hot water. The difference, however, is in the preparation. Here’s what a long black is, what makes it unique, and how to make one. There are several key differences between an americano and a long black, especially regarding how baristas mix hot water with espresso: To make an americano, baristas pour hot water over espresso For a long black the opposite is true – so baristas add espresso to hot water This helps the drink to retain more crema, more than it usually would for an americano Typically, baristas also prepare a long black with less water than an americano. It is therefore more concentrated, meaning that the flavour of the espresso is more pronounced. It should not be mistaken for a lungo, #longblackcoffee #specialtycoffee #keepitlongblack

Creating a series of cocktails for your cocktail menu, weather its seasonal, monthly or bi-monthly is a great tool to keep your regular customers and guests revisiting your venue and falling in love with your bar program. This is exactly what the legendary Milk&Honey did. The bar team created a series called “HANDS” featuring different cocktails that essentially were variations of other successful cocktails. The Right Hand (Aged Rum), Tres Hands (Tequila/Mezcal) and Smoking Hand (Scotch) were examples of this series. The Left Hand, created by Sam Ross is a play on the Negroni…just before the Boulevardier had its comeback to popularity. @samueljoelross *Original recipe called for Bittermans chocolate bitters (I couldn’t get my hands (right or left) on it for this vid, so try it both ways and let me know your thoughts?? THE LEFT HAND 1.5 oz Bourbon .75 oz Sweet Vermouth .75 oz Campari 3 dashes chocolate bitters Brandies cherry garnish Served..up #eventplanning #eventplanner #customerretention

Irish Coffee:- The Irish coffee is an iconic cocktail, and the original recipe is not difficult. It requires four common ingredients: The combination of a smooth Irish whiskey with rich black coffee that's sweetened and topped with cream is an absolute delight. This recipe was created in Ireland by Joe Sheridan in the early 1940s. Despite some common shortcuts, authentic Irish coffee is not as simple as spiking coffee with a shot of whiskey. Instead, this is a well-planned, carefully constructed coffee drink that should be mixed with the care of any latte or cappuccino. That said, it is actually quite easy. Choose a great Irish whiskey and follow the recipe, and you'll discover why this classic is considered one of the best cocktails of all time. Perfect for a chilly evening, it makes an excellent after-dinner drink that you'll want to share with everyone you know……… INGREDIENTS:- 2 teaspoons packed brown sugar, to taste 4 ounces strong, hot coffee 1 1/2 ounces Irish whiskey 1 ounce heavy cream, lightly whipped Steps to Make It——- Gather the ingredients Place the brown sugar into a warm Irish coffee glass, mug, or other heatproof glass Add the coffee and Irish whiskey Stir until the sugar is dissolved. Float the lightly whipped heavy cream on top by slowly pouring it over the back of a spoon.
