Exactly a year after earning my MHA, I applied to FSU’s College of Law, hoping to take the next step in my career = become proficient in Healthcare Law. Beyond my passion for Healthcare Administration, I am on a pursuit to become a subject matter expert in healthcare laws, regulations, and policies that shape our healthcare system. I'm super proud to share that I finished my first semester of Healthcare Law school with a 4.1 GPA. Sky is the limit! #HealthcareLaw #HealthcareRegulation

I have been reading and researching about the SIHIS Pilot Scheme for some time and find the current information concerning. This article highlights the uncertainty within these cases and the need for independent experts to protect the right of a fair trial. When delays in medical/scientific knowledge have resulted in opinions which have achieved unjust results in the past and many uncertainties remain, there should be greater scrutiny in future cases not less. Parental blame when science does not have the answers is a worrying trend. The sound of hooves outside would be assumed to be a horse, but we cannot assume it's not a zebra, even though unlikely to be it is in the range of possibilities. We can't assume that parents are guilty when there is a high level of medical/scientific uncertainty, which may not be identified under the SIHIS scheme. https://lnkd.in/e3yRDquq
