Last week, Graduate Medical Education hosted the second annual Women in Medicine and Healthcare Symposium. Panelists, including women physicians and women leaders, provided meaningful discussion around a variety of topics that impact women today. Several residents throughout all different programs attended to listen, learn and contribute. The Women in Medicine and Healthcare Symposium was lead and put together by Rutuja Bhalerao, MD, Internal Medicine PGY-3 and committee members Amanda Sniadach, MD, Anesthesia PGY-3 and Nishani Abeydeera, DO, Internal Medicine PGY-1.
