Celebrate the good. The last 7 days have not been the best (deer accident and our dryer went kaput), but the last 7 years? The good definitely outweighs the bad, times 10. Celebrate showing up, if nothing else. What wins are you celebrating today? #attendance #anniversary #interviewtips

I recently celebrated my 37th birthday with a long weekend getaway, surrounded by four of my closest childhood friends. As I reflected on the past year—both personally and professionally—here are my top three takeaways from my 36th year and 3rd year as a business owner: 1. You Can’t Do It All (And That’s OK): When I first launched Elevate, I had a clear vision of how I wanted to grow the business, but I quickly realized I couldn’t carry every task on my own shoulders. Learning to delegate wasn’t just an option—it became a necessity. Trusting others with key responsibilities has been a game-changer. 2. Build a Team You Trust: This year reinforced the importance of surrounding yourself with the right people. I’ve worked hard to cultivate a team that I not only trust but who truly believes in our mission. With the right support in place, even when I’m taking a break for some much-needed R&R, I know Elevate is in good hands. 3. Celebrate Your Wins (Big and Small): Whether it’s taking a step back to reflect on how far you’ve come or simply enjoying a weekend off with friends, it’s crucial to celebrate yourself and your achievements. This year, I’ve learned that self-care and celebration are just as important as hard work. Here’s to another year of growth, lessons, and continued celebration! #birthdaycelebration #happybirthday #itsmybirthday

Yesterday, I celebrated my 73rd birthday with my family ?? ?? . I'm so grateful for this beautiful life ?? !!! I want to share with you why at my age I'm doing this project Passive Profit Partners I am doing this because I see there are gaps that we can fill with beauty, creative solutions, opportunities, well-being, and hope for the future of families and communities. Sometimes, I wonder: Why do I get these ideas? Why can't I just chill and be at home, rocking in my chair? Why do I have to put myself out of my comfort zone and take risks? And you know what? Because I have to make peace with this: Either I follow the conviction in my heart about these ideas needing to be materialized or I wonder what if I didn’t try? I prefer the first one and follow the call from my heart to create a community of intentional investors that, together, we build the good we want to see in the world. Because the future is now, and I want to build good structures for future generations. This world has been so good to me. I want to humbly give back and serve as a bridge of opportunities for others to experience a beautiful, loving, and abundant life for many, many, many generations. I think we can build more prosperity, one investment at a time. That our money creates a ripple effect of love. Do you resonate with this? I offer a 15 min free consultation call where we can explore deep into building intentional wealth????.

Celebrating my 2-year Anniversary as a Business Owner To say that time flies is an understatement. September marks two years for me as a small business owner. I am deeply grateful for all of those who continue to help me on this journey, and the many clients who have trusted me to serve their needs. I am joyfully celebrating the career I designed that plays to my strengths and honors my values. Here are some of the valuable lessons I learned along the way… 1.????Don’t take yourself too seriously – embrace humility. 2.????When you have a bad day, lift someone else up. 3.????Be an advocate for others. 4.????Be willing to ask for help and offer to help others. 5.????Your best laid plans will change – be ready to pivot and be resilient. 6.????Your value is not measured by the hours worked but the impact you make. 7.????Play is a connection to creativity. 8.????Rest is an investment in your wellbeing. 9.????Prioritize time to think, reflect, and dream – this unlocks energy, focus and productivity. 10.?Take good care of your body – your life depends on it. Onwards to another year of personal and professional growth and a commitment to wellbeing, wisdom, and wonder!

Today marks my 1 year anniversary since moving my family to Louisiana and starting a new role within Aurorium. I have learned many things during my journey, way too many to put in a post but here are some big ones. 1. Surround yourself with great people! It is important when you start a new position, in a new location, in a system that is far away from your support network. Realtors, doctors, veterinarians, car repairs are very real things that will need addressed. To have a group surrounding you to help find answers is priceless, in this I have been very lucky. 2. Give yourself grace. Be patient, you will get there but it doesn't happen nearly as quickly as you would like, that is okay. Acknowledge your mistakes and where you need to grow, then make changes. 3. Pay attention. Often times there are great coworkers around you and they often want to help. Listen to them and learn how their systems work. What are their expectations? You can learn a great deal by simply being aware of how others interact with each other. 4. Stay in contact! It is all new to you and it is easy to get caught up in the turmoil of a long distance change. Friends, family, and loved ones ground you and provide a space for some mental relief, don't neglect that. It takes a lot to be successful in any position and that will wear on you, stay in contact and laugh with old friends now and again. That is it for now. I condensed it down to four points but this last year has been so much more. We look forward to seeing what the future holds.

Shaun and I celebrated our 20th anniversary recently. I know, I can’t quite believe it either. One of the things we did very early in our relationship was sit down and map out a life plan. This involved working out our core values and priorities as well as our short- and long-term goals, both as individuals and as a couple. They were categorised into six core areas, including work / career, health, relationships, and money. We looked at where we wanted to be in 20 years and what we needed to do to get there. Taking the time to sit down and work through our priorities and goals gave us a framework for the last 20 years of our life together. It set some ground rules for our relationship and helped us stay focused when times were hard. By setting priorities and some deadlines, we could better manage where we spend our time, energy, and attention. Our goals also helped keep us accountable, as we reviewed them at least every year, and often every quarter. And because we mostly wanted the same things, it made decision-making easier as we could evaluate options and choices based on our long-term goals and values. Twenty years on and we have achieved almost all that we set out to do all those years ago. Now it’s time for us to create our life plan for the next 20 years! Do you have a life plan? Or goals of any sort? What do they look like? I'd love to know. #goals #lifeplan #anniversary #celebration
