Regularly checking your home's insulation is essential to maintain energy efficiency, comfort, and cost savings throughout the year. Regular insulation maintenance also contributes to the longevity of your home's HVAC system and overall structural integrity, making it a worthwhile investment in the long run. #bespokeconstruction #northernva #insulation #designbuild #HomeReminders #attic #homerenovation

Love 'em or hate 'em, it looks like heat pumps are here to stay, and will probably be the main heat source for newbuild homes over the forseeable future. ? Heat pumps really come into their own when they run at low enough flow temperatures to be cheaper to run than gas boilers, whilst achieving the same internal comfort temperature. ? To do this they need to be paired with emitters inside the house with larger surface areas. The larger the surface area, the lower the flow temperature can be. ? Surface area doesn't get much bigger than the whole floor area which is why Underfloor Heating just makes sense. All the other benefits of UFH are still there too. #heatpump #underfloorheating #futurehomes #radiators #newbuild #housing

The power of an energy calculation (heat load calculation) cannot be overstated. It quantifies the exact heating and cooling needs of your home, paving the way for optimal HVAC system sizing. By examining every aspect – windows, walls, insulation, roof, floors, doors – it pinpoints the perfect balance for your HVAC’s tonnage and efficiency. Plus, it reveals areas where you might be losing on energy efficiency. https://calcwizards.com/ #CalcWizards #EnergyCalculation #EnergyEfficiency

Did you know that checking your attic insulation can make a huge difference in your home's energy efficiency? ??? Your attic should have at least 11 inches of fiberglass insulation. Without it, you’re likely losing heat through the upper level of your home, leading to higher energy bills and a less comfortable living space. ????? Take a quick look at your attic insulation and ensure it's up to par. Your wallet (and your HVAC system) will thank you! ???? #hvac #EnergyEfficiency #HVACTips #SaveEnergy #thousandoaksca #simivalleyca #santaclarita

We offer thermal imaging as part of our home retrofit assessment. Thermal imaging is performed alongside the standard assessment of insulation. It can help detect problems such as thermal bridging - weak points in the?building envelope?which allow heat to pass through more easily. Although thermal bridging tends to occur in key areas, it is not always predictable or obvious, even to the experienced eye. Thermal imaging can also aid the detection of plumbing issues, roof leaks, rendering defects and heating, ventilation and air conditioning problems. Myth: Heat pumps take up too much space.. ? All heat pumps are installed outside the home, and take up less space than a standard wheelie bin. Here are the?dimensions?for a typical air source heat?pump – even the largest one is smaller than a standard wheelie bin. The more powerful heat pumps are the largest; and these are suited to larger homes or ones that lose heat more easily: 5kW?unit:?HWD?88cm x 79cm?x 31cm? 8kW unit:?HWD?94cm?x 99cm x 33cm? 12kW?& 16kW?unit:?HWD?94cm x 142cm x?33cm Your installer will be able to identify the most suitable location and the most appropriate size of unit for your home, which should all be explained prior to install. It will need to be placed in a location with good airflow that is easily accessible for maintenance. This often means on the ground at the rear of the property, although they can also be hung to the outside wall of your home. #ASHP?#heatpumps?#airsourceheatpump?#heating?#sustainability?#carbonfootprint?#greenenergy?#greenfuture?#futureproof?#heatpumpsize?#energyefficiency #heatfromair

1 周I wish Rinnai would promote this great product for what it is designed for, a whole house furnace. This unit is one of the best products ever sold in cold climates for heating entire homes. Please don’t under estimate its ability to serve as the certified product it is, a furnace, not a spot heat. Your smallest unit will heat between 400 to 600 square feet. Mid size unit will heat 700 to 900 square feet. The large unit will heat upwards of 1,700 square feet. These units are super efficient and cut gas bills by 20 to 40%.
