A great lecture delivered by Professor Michael Sanders on the need to get better at picking the right tool, for the right job. A nudge when a nudge will do, and a shove when a shove will do. Both working in tandem to inform better public policies that will tackle our most complex and challenging problems. And we need to get better and more urgent! While building a robust evidence base takes time, governments and regulators must innovate and rapidly test interventions, that will either fail or succeed fast. Even finding that an intervention doesn't work is a win, as it prevents wasted resources and ineffective policies, ultimately saving lives and public funds. #behaviouralpublicpolicy

EDUCATION MATTERS Education is crucial for the Biden-Harris administration's commitment to building back better together. Thumbs up to the 46th POTUS Joe Biden and VP Kamala Harris. Their action on behalf of HBCUs is of utmost importance for three main reasons. First, it's one of the best possible ways to deal with the quest and request for reparations relative to the U.S. "original sin." Second, funding for HBCUs is consistent with the actions necessary to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals, especially Goal number 4, QUALITY EDUCATION. Third, the Biden-Harris administration's attention to HBCUs and other minority serving institutions (MSIs) is indicative of a Big, Smart; and Caring Government of, by, and for the People, All People, WE THE PEOPLE. That's the kind d of Government we need. I am sure that's exactly the kind of Government that the Harris-Walz will be, if the American voters understand what is at stake in Decision 2024 and VOTE accordingly. Let's do the right thing for ourselves, for country, for the free world, and for HUMANITY. This amazing site features the carved faces of four legendary U.S. Presidents, each symbolising key aspects of America's journey. 1. ???????????? ???????????????????? (#1): The first president, Washington is the embodiment of leadership and resilience. He laid the foundation for the United States, much like how foundational knowledge sets the stage for future innovations in education.?? 2. ???????????? ?????????????????? (#3): As the primary author of the Declaration of Independence, Jefferson's vision for liberty and education paved the way for a society that values lifelong learning and intellectual freedom. Imagine if he could see today's educational opportunities where knowledge is accessible to everyone. 3. ???????????????? ?????????????????? (#26): Known for his energetic leadership and progressive policies, Roosevelt was a trailblazer in conservation and social reform. 4. ?????????????? ?????????????? (#16): Lincoln's legacy of unity and equality continues to inspire.
