Don't do it, unless you have to... This is really yet another poor AI question. The market will not pay you enough to compensate you for your risk over that of an employee along w the fact that you will have to sub contract where the contracting company has their margins that they need to make. Never be a sub to a sub. The problem is that you're now in a global pool where people will choose not based on qualifications but on cost. In the US, you have a 13% tax on being self employed not to mention the need to incorporate so you can do C2C contracts. Avoid the W2 contracts if you can. There's more, but its not a good idea to do it. Stay full time if you can.
