There’s no magic formula for navigating the economic, geopolitical, legal, and cultural complexities that are part of daily executive life. Are you a hub or a bridge? Reading "Act like a leader, Think like a leader" from Herminia Ibarra I got trapped by this simple question. "Hubs have to be the centre of action while bridges connect, offer support and export ideas. Bridge-led teams have better outcomes as bridge leaders are out there seeing things and having conversations". How do you behave with your team? A good bridge is aligning goals to company strategy, feed the team with information that enable them to succeed, get support from external stakeholders, improve visibility and reputation of the team. #leadership

ON LEADERSHIP EMPOWERMENT ??Exactly right Robertson Hunter Stewart! ??True power is not measured by dominance, but by the ability to uplift others. ??Those who empower, inspire, and support are the true holders of strength. ??By fostering growth, sharing knowledge, and encouraging others to reach their potential, they create a ripple effect that spreads far beyond themselves. ??True power isn't about control or authority; it's about enabling others to thrive and succeed. ??In doing so, they cultivate a network of empowered individuals who, in turn, continue the cycle of empowerment. ??This collective strength builds resilient communities and drives positive change, shaping a world where everyone has the opportunity to flourish.

"True power lies in the hands of those who empower others." As leaders and managers, let's fuel the engine of engagement by fostering a culture of empowerment within our teams. Empowering your employees is the key to unlocking their full potential. Here's why: 1?? Empowered individuals are not just workers; they are motivated contributors. By providing them with autonomy and trust, you ignite a spark that propels them to go above and beyond. 2?? Empowerment creates an environment where diverse ideas flourish. When individuals feel their ideas are valued and encouraged, innovation becomes a natural byproduct. 3?? Empowered teams are resilient teams. When individuals are confident in their abilities and decisions, challenges become opportunities for growth rather than obstacles. 4?? Empowerment nurtures a sense of ownership. When employees feel a genuine stake in their work, they are more likely to take responsibility, leading to a stronger sense of accountability. 5?? Empowered employees are happier employees. When their skills are recognized, and they are entrusted with meaningful responsibilities, job satisfaction soars. Leadership is not about control; it's about enabling others to succeed. embracing empowerment, we not only elevate our teams but also create a workplace where everyone's potential is realized. Gone are the days of traditional top-down approaches, organisations are now embracing leadership that prioritises empathy, transparency, and a genuine commitment to employee well-being.
