This week, we joined Chicago Women In Trades for “Trades Women Take Over Springfield,” advocating for HR 161 - a resolution reaffirming Illinois’ commitment to expanding workforce opportunities in the trades through equity, accountability and investment. We had the privilege of meeting with State Representatives Williams, Hernandez, Mah and many others to discuss why this resolution is critical for ensuring everyone, regardless of background, has access to a thriving career in the skilled trades.
