?? From Entertainment Blogger to T3 Mentor at Powur PBC: My Journey ?? When I first shared my dream of becoming an entertainment blogger, I thought I was crazy! The idea of attending red carpet events and press junkets seemed like a distant fantasy. I was scared, questioning my writing abilities, but I refused to let doubt hold me back. Even when 300 words took 8 hours to write, I persevered. From 2011 to 2018, I covered nearly every family-friendly film and had incredible opportunities like DIY collaborations and Press Trips with Disney, Sony Pictures Animations, and more. In 2023, I set my sights on being a T3 mentor at Powur PBC. With the grace of God and incredible support, I achieved that goal. Now, in 2024, I'm embarking on a new adventure—combining 20 years of marketing experience with my passion for solar. Partnering with contractors, I aim to serve clients in my unique and authentic way. Yes, I'm scared, but I won't let fear dictate my journey. I choose to walk in faith, not by sight. Here’s a story that will brighten your day...meet Azai, a young guest whose favorite store is Target. He loves visiting T-0966 in Huntersville, North Carolina and goes out of his way to greet his fellow shoppers with a friendly “hi” and plenty of fist bumps. (And anyone who knows me, knows I appreciate a good fist bump!) To show our appreciation, we made Azai an honorary team member, and store director Tammy Jackson made sure he had everything he needed to feel part of the team—red shirt, name tag and a roll full of stickers. I created this video with the help of Jacki Krumnow ?, and the team at high caliber karting. It was my goal to create this video as cost-effectively as possible, so many of the shots were captured on a variety of phone cameras such as the S23 and iPhone 14. It just goes to show the amount of quality you can get with a good vision and knowledge of your platform's strengths. The other thing that I considered when creating this piece of content is: Where is this going to be delivered? How is this video going to achieve the goals of the business? What does this video do? What will the viewers be thinking when they watch this? - All of these questions led me to a budget-friendly deal for High Caliber Karting's event department and won the bid as a freelance editor and producer.
