Our take-make-waste linear economy is inefficient and bad for the environment. A circular economy provides opportunities to re-manufacture and reuse end-of-life B2B and B2C products instead of having them end up in a landfill. These activities can reduce landfill waste and decrease the lifetime energy cost and emissions of products across the manufacturing economy. Equally as important, a circular economy can help to bolster resilient domestic supply chains.
