Why am I working 3 jobs as a new grad Physical Therapist Assistant? ? Diverse Experience: Working in various specialties allows me to gain a broad range of experience and become versatile and well-rounded. ? Skill Development: Exposure to different patient populations and treatment interventions helps develop a wide array of techniques that can be double-dipped into different specialties. ? Enhanced Learning: Each specialty offers unique challenges and learning experiences. This diversity in practice deepens my clinical understanding and provides real-life application. ? Adaptability: Working in various settings helps me become more adaptable and resilient, and pushes me to handle a variety of clinical situations with confidence. ? Patient-Centered Care: Understanding different aspects of patient care through various specialties leads to more holistic and patient-centered treatment approaches, ultimately improving my patients’ outcomes. I chose physical therapy because of my passion for patient outcomes and continuous opportunities for growth. ??Providing quality patient care is more than just going through the motions- it is achieved by consistently challenging myself and stepping out of my comfort zone.
