Ensuring safe operations beyond visual line of sight (#BVLOS) is essential for the widespread adoption of these transformative technologies. ? At Revolution Aerospace, we're thrilled to contribute to this movement with the release of our Detect and Avoid (DAA) Design, Test, and Evaluation (DT&E) Guideline (Version 1.0). ?? ? The body of DAA related literature developed over the years is comprehensive, but it is difficult for most to piece together why certain safety requirements exist, or even assess their relevance.?Our guideline consolidates a wide body of research and brings it all together to provide a comprehensive framework for DAA systems supporting low-risk Uncrewed Aircraft System (#UAS) operations in uncontrolled #airspace beyond the airport environment. ? Limitations of the planning system for drone and #AdvancedAirMobility (#AAM) infrastructure In the summer, Future Flight published its Planning Guidance report produced by Achieving the Difference in partnership with MIDLANDS AEROSPACE ALLIANCE and Lichfields UK.
