The Airtac LSH Series Standard Linear Guide Rail is the staring point for any high-speed motion control applications. Designed for strength and mobility, Airtac's Linear Guide Rails have many features that help adapt them to a variety of applications. These features include; self-aligning rails, capability for four directional motion, a modular system, and more. The self-aligning property of the Linear Guide Rails is enabled by the X-shaped grooves on the cross section of the rail. Even if small misalignments exist on the mounting surface, the rail absorbs it to maintain high precision, with smooth and stable linear motion. The steel balls contact the raceway at a 45-degree angle to achieve the ideal two-point contact. NEW GLENN #REUSABLE #ROCKET, BY Blue Origin. New Glenn is named after John Glenn, the first American to orbit Earth. The #rocket is engineered with the #safety and #redundancy required to fly #humans. The vehicle is powered by 7 of the most powerful liquid oxygen (LOX) / liquefied natural gas (LNG)-fueled combustion engines ever flown. Each BE-4 engine is reusable and generates 2,450 kN thrust at sea level with deep-throttle capability. LNG is higher-performing and cleaner-burning than most traditional kerosene-burning engines, thereby improving #engine #reusability and requiring less total fuel for the same performance. Full-rate production at Blue Origin’s manufacturing facilities in Kent, WA and Huntsville, AL ends America’s reliance on Russian #rocket engine technology.
Great job by the engineering, operations and engine teams on the installation (here is another view.) The seven #BE4 engines in this image will deliver more than 3.8 million pounds of thrust for #NewGlenn. Three of the seven engines gimbal to provide the control authority for New Glenn during ascent, re-entry, and landing on Jacklyn, our recovery vessel downrange at sea. That gimbal capability, along with the landing gear and Reaction Control System thrusters, are key to making our booster fully reusable. Fun fact: The vehicle's max design gimbal condition is during ascent when it has to fight high-altitude winds.

Therefore, when installing the propellers, you need to pay attention to installing the propellers on the corresponding motors. Minimum Control Speed on the Ground: VMCG “JAR/FAR 25.149 Minimum control speed (e) VMCG, the minimum control speed on the ground, is the calibrated airspeed during the take-off run, at which, when the critical engine is suddenly made inoperative, it is possible to maintain control of the aeroplane with the use of the primary aerodynamic controls alone (without the use of nose-wheel steering) to enable the take-off to be safely continued using normal piloting skill. In the determination of VMCG, assuming that the path of the aeroplane accelerating with all engines operating is along the centreline of the runway, its path from the point at which the critical engine is made inoperative to the point at which recovery to a direction parallel to the centreline is completed, may not deviate more than 30 ft laterally from the centreline at any point.” “VMCG must be established, with: ? The aeroplane in each take-off configuration or, at the option of the applicant, in the most critical take-off configuration; ? Maximum available take-off power or thrust on the operating engines; ? The most unfavourable centre of gravity; ? The aeroplane trimmed for take-off; and ? The most unfavourable weight in the range of take-off weights.”
