???Love is not what you say. Love is what you do.??? This quote resonates deeply with me, especially as I witness the incredible outpouring of support and kindness in our community following the impact of Hurricane Helene. It’s been heartwarming to see neighbors helping neighbors, local businesses stepping up to provide resources, and friends reaching out to one another during this challenging time. Every act of kindness—big or small—speaks volumes about the love we share in our community. ???? I am beyond grateful for everyone showing love as we navigate this journey of recovery and rebuilding in Western North Carolina. Together, we’re stronger, and together, we will rise! ???? ********** #AshevilleStrong #wncstrong #CommunityLove #TogetherWeRise #asheville #ashevillenc #828isgreat?#WomenInBusiness?#SystemSuccess #BusinessGrowth #EfficiencyIsKey #BusinessSuccess #EfficientOperations #SystemOptimization #BusinessGrowth #EfficiencyMatters #EmpowermentCollective

When the press refuses to cover your story and social media suppresses your message, you give the app a story people want to share. ?? We've never been afraid of fighting an uphill battle, and as believers in the principle of "you get out what you put in," we won't stop sharing our message and loudly serving our community. ?? To be quite frank, we don’t care about the press picking up this campaign, we just want to get water in the hands of those in need. ?? Support our federally legal product offering or not, we’re calling on the community to get in front of the right people to we can help them rebuild their homes. ?? This past week, Rebel Rabbit High Seltzer has canned 10,000 cans of water and shipped them up to Asheville to help our local community. How does this feed our mission of redefining social drink? ?? It's simple: socializing requires a community. My advice to anyone pursuing a career in marketing or branding is to work with brands you believe in. As a marketer, you can make the world a better place.?? The best products solve problems, and the best brands build communities. The best marketers show what they're building and why they're building it, evoking an emotion that exists beyond the product. The energy you feel while doing your thing? That's passion, it transcends. ?? Do the thing, solve the problem, build the community, find the feeling. Do the thing. ????
The press will not cover this story, despite our products being legalized across South Carolina. Therefore, we are turning to social media to spread the word. If you have been affected by Hurricane Helene and require clean, canned water for you and your team, please don't hesitate to contact us.?? We are working hard to restore our facility to full capacity and we are eager to produce more water to support first responders and community members during this challenging time. ?? And a quick note to our customers. Thank you for your patience. We wouldn’t be here without you all. We are beyond grateful to be in a position where we can assist our community. We appreciate your understanding and kind words we’ve received. Our team is safe and right now we’re doing everything we can for those who have it worse than we do while also getting the products you love back into your hands. Thanks for your support, Pierce Wylie & Billy Goldsmith Founders of Rebel Rabbit

Innovative Recruiting and Talent Acquisition Leader focused on delivering exceptional candidate experiences, customer service, and driving impactful DEI initiatives to elevate organizational success.
Life has a way of presenting us with challenges that can seem overwhelming—moments that test our resolve and push us beyond our comfort zone. It’s during these times that we find opportunities for growth we might never have imagined. Life can be cruel as evidenced by mother nature barreling down with Hurricane Milton on the same area that hit Florida with Hurricane Helene just 2 short weeks ago. Just ask the people of Florida, Georgia and Asheville, NC. In times of hardship, it can be tempting to lose hope, to feel like the weight of our challenges is too much to carry. But, even when the road ahead is uncertain, there is power in taking things one step at a time. Progress doesn’t have to be monumental; sometimes, it’s about celebrating the small victories that bring us closer to where we want to be. This post is a reminder to anyone who may be struggling right now: you are stronger than you realize. Resilience isn’t about never feeling doubt or fear; it’s about continuing on in spite of those feelings. It’s about recognizing that every effort matters, and that, with time, the dark moments can lead to brighter days. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, remember that it’s okay to ask for help and lean on others. Together, we’re capable of amazing things, and there is so much strength in community. Let's continue to support and uplift each other through our challenges, and remind ourselves that we are all capable of rising above. ???? #Resilience #StrengthInUnity #Growth #Community #NeverGiveUp

I had planned to come back to LinkedIn today, but now am waiting for #HurricaneBeryl and its impacts to Cozumel. I think most folks understand (finally) that human-induced climate change and the myriad other ways in which we have destroyed ecological balance, the impacts will now be more and more common. From diseases spreading, to drought, to hurricanes, we will have to cope with disasters. A few observations, in no particular order, about *what community looks like* (and doesn't) in this context: 1. I am working on a grant application for a client, and was granted a deadline extension to gather up needed information due to the hurricane. This should be #philanthropy #goals 2. I am working as a partner with another consultant to co-facilitate a session on Tuesday. My partner graciously gave me flexibility for our planning call and volunteered to do the heavy lifting on prep due to the Hurricane. This should be #partnership #goals (and YES I met this partner in the Katalyst Consulting Group - shoutout to the BEST professional community I've ever been in). 3. I have touched base with ALL of the folks we have come to befriend or otherwise interact with regularly here in Cozumel, and am surprised to see there are more people than I realized. I feel supported and know that we are not alone. I've gotten good advice from Cozumelenos and long-time immigrants. Truthfully, I know we have far more support than we ever did in Florida. This should be #community #goals. 4. Our landlord has been extremely difficult, dishonest, and inappropriate, exacerbating stress. #ThisIsLife and hopefully one day, we can own our own home. For now, we have what we need. Please do pray for all of those reeling in this storm's aftermath, contribute where you can to recovery efforts *especially* on islands that suffer the legacy of colonialism, and send your "weakening," tranquilo vibes to Beryl. No, it's not scientific, but it doesn't hurt when all other precautions are in place. See y'all on the other side. #NewNormal #Climate #community #DisasterPreparedness

We are now less than a month away from All Things Open! If you love open source or are curious to learn more about AI, DevOps or Cloud I highly recommend checking out this conference. There are tons of interesting sessions and keynote speakers from companies like Github, AWS, Google, Saleforce, Red Hat and many more right here in downtown Raleigh! #ato #raleigh #devops #aiops #aws
A quick update.. All Things Open 2024 is taking place as planned October 27-29 in Raleigh. Hurricane Helene hit Western NC very hard but (for the most part) spared the eastern part of the state and the RTP. We are beyond thankful. Love and strength to all of those impacted. And thanks to everyone who has reached out to inquire. Our community remains the best in all the world.
