Hey Folks, I"m starting to do my research (and search) for a Production Manager for YPM. I don't have a JD yet and I'm ok with this being a short or a long search - so apologies if this is less formal than usual. I'm looking for someone who understands 'Small Agency' business. The business of almost everyone at the agency is capable of doing multiple things. We do a lot of different things at YPM: -Influencer Campaigns (talking heads on twitch/youtube) -Influencer Campaigns (studio visits, game capture sessions, feedback sessions - which means there is an understanding of logistics (hotels, flights, timing, on-site support needs) -influencer campaigns (tiktok/IG) full production support for creator videos that sometimes take months (CG or cosplay creation) or full video production on site (look at our Space Camp work for Starfield or The Crew: Motorfest videos for examples) - Social Media campaigns (creative, art, video editing, posting, analytics) (no paid social.. ick) -Game Trailer concepting and production - Brand Storytelling/Documentary filmmaking - KeyArt development - Community Managment/Moderation - VIP/Creator Mailer/Swag Kit/VIP bag creation, concepting, manufacturing, shipping/logistics It's alot. and we get it done with a moderate crew (about 20-25 people on a monthly basis) I need someone that can pull the levers day to day. Are we using everyone effecieintly? Will we need more contractors next week? Next month? Are the right amount of people on each project (what does the data say from the last time we did one of these? Were we profitable?) Work with the Producer team to level project teams out. Are they the right people, do they have the support they need? Is the client getting our best thinking? Are we following into the trap of 'the B team' is good enough (we don't do B team here. No matter how large or small a project is, it deserves A thinking. Do you manage the crazy that are creative producers well? beccause.. they have opinions, and sometimes don't love paperwork or budget tracking as much as the creative aspects.. good luck. So - it this type of crazy is for you (oh, and we're small - so I won't say we pay 'badly' but it's certainly not Holding company or Public company/brand ranges. But we're a good group, we have a lot of flexibility and intangibles (we work 3 days a week in South Pasadena office and then are home working to allow more family time Thursdays and Fridays) as a fixed schedule to allow max collaboration Mon- Wed. Let me know your thoughts, send me your people crazy enough

People often confuse our roles, so here’s a quick breakdown: Content Creator: The creative talent behind the scenes, capturing visuals and bringing ideas to life. They’re the ones shooting, editing, and telling stories through photos and videos. Social Media Manager: The strategist behind the social presence, shaping and executing the overall plan. They write engaging copy, design visuals, manage content schedules, and track performance to make sure it all connects with the audience. Together, we bring ideas to life—one creates the story, the other shares it with the world.

?? ?? New Work Alert! ?? ?? Earlier this week UKTV launched a bold new rebrand across our free to air channels and transitioned into our new free streaming service, U. The campaign was launched with a beautifully crafted AV that pays homage to U and fronted by pop royalty... yes that is Cher! ?? I had the privilege of filming some bespoke social lines with her for our campaign and can confirm she really is a true icon! As our premium placements have now gone live across Meta, TikTok and Pinterest, I thought I would take this opportunity to showcase a small selection of assets I created, that are supporting the launch across our Paid Social channels. We have gone live with 15 creative’s with 27 different variations across 7 key placements. These placements include Meta Moments, TikTok top view, TikTok pulse, top feed, standard video ads and Pinterest premier spotlight. We also launched with a UKTV exclusive, TikTok 'super like', across all of our ads, allowing for additional brand recognition. Our main goal for the launch was to be as loud and disruptive as possible, whilst reaching our KPI's and landing our new brand messaging, 'We've Got U'. Within the paid social campaign we looked at two phases - the first phase was our impressive Cher fronted content, and our second phase uses our ‘hard working’ performance-based style assets, which bring to life our shows across all channels. Through posing rhetorical questions and fun interactive ads, we pushed key messaging to stay relevant and personal to viewers. Working with creative direction from our OOH ads we managed to bring to life the shows in a fun and social first format. 5 things I love about being a Social Media Manager! Being a social media manager is more than just scrolling through reels (although, let's be honest, that can be pretty fun ). Here are just a few of the things I truly enjoy about this dynamic field: Experimenting with trends: Staying ahead of the curve and trying out new trends with my clients keeps things exciting and allows us to explore innovative ways to connect with their audiences. Learning from diverse businesses: Every client brings a unique perspective and industry knowledge to the table. I constantly learn and grow from interacting with different business owners and their diverse experiences. Collaborating with creative minds: Working alongside creative individuals, from graphic designers to content writers, is truly inspiring. Their energy and fresh ideas help me craft even more engaging content. Building brand stories: It's incredibly rewarding to create content that resonates with a brand's target audience and helps them tell their unique story. Seeing our efforts translate into real connections is truly fulfilling. Juggling roles: In this job, I get to be creative, and strategic, and analyze data. While the "earning from scrolling reels" part might be a stretch, the opportunities to learn, connect, and be creative are what truly make this career path so rewarding. #SocialMediaManager #DigitalMarketing #MarketingLife #LoveMyJob Feel free to share what you love most about your job in the comments below!

Social Media Manager | Graphic Designer | Content Strategist | Branding | WordPress Website Designer
From watching BTS videos to making my own behind-the-scenes content! ??? As a kid, I was always curious about how movies and shoots came together. Now, I’m excited to be part of that world, especially in social media marketing and content creation. I recently had a fantastic time working on a saree shoot. It wasn’t just about showcasing beautiful fabrics; it was about telling a story. Every detail mattered—how the light hit the fabric, the way it draped, and the overall vibe we wanted to create for our audience. Whether it’s creating visuals for an ad or putting together social media posts, every project feels like a new adventure. I love brainstorming ideas, collaborating with everyone involved, and seeing it all come together on set. It’s about creating genuine content that connects with people. Here are some behind-the-scenes moments that capture the fun and creativity of the shoot. It’s these little glimpses that bring our audience closer to what we do! What do you enjoy most about your work in content creation? I’d love to hear your stories! #ContentCreation #SocialMediaMarketing #BehindTheScenes #SareeShoot #CreativeProcess

In 15 minutes I show borrowers how much they can borrow so they can ? start saving more money ? stop wasting time ? and get a good night's sleep!
First let me say I am not a video producer - but Anna, my VA, is my editor-in-chief. I did a video on the benefits of using an Offset account with your property loan (this will appear separately - possibly next week after it is prettied up). I was asked by Anna 'Do you want your video in reel or landscape format?' Not being an expert and au fait with this terminology and to save Anna the trouble of having to explain the differences to me, I asked my new friend, Chat GPT to assist me. Here is what Chat had to say: Choosing between portrait and landscape mode for your Instagram Reels depends on several factors, including your content, audience engagement, and platform trends. Here are some reasons to consider each mode: Portrait Mode (9:16) - Platform Preference: Instagram is primarily a mobile platform, and most users hold their phones vertically. Portrait mode takes advantage of this by filling the screen, providing a more immersive experience. - Engagement: Reels in portrait mode can be more engaging since they occupy the full screen, making it easier for viewers to focus on your content without distractions. - Content Suitability: Many types of content, such as tutorials, challenges, and quick tips, often look better in portrait mode. This format allows for a more natural framing of subjects and action. - Trendy Format: Vertical videos have become a trend across platforms like TikTok and Instagram, making portrait mode more aligned with current content consumption habits. Landscape Mode (16:9) - Wider Shots: Landscape mode is ideal for content that requires a wider frame, such as group activities, events, or panoramic views. It allows for a more cinematic look. - Visual Impact: If your content includes landscapes, architecture, or any visuals that benefit from a wider perspective, landscape mode can enhance the storytelling aspect. - Cross-Platform Use: Landscape videos can be more versatile for other platforms (like YouTube), where wide format is standard. If you're repurposing content, landscape mode might be beneficial. - Professional Look: For certain types of content, such as interviews or presentations, landscape mode can lend a more professional appearance. Conclusion Overall, portrait mode is generally recommended for Instagram Reels due to its alignment with user behavior and engagement trends. However, if your content lends itself better to a landscape format, don’t hesitate to use it. Ultimately, consider your audience and the type of content you're creating when making your choice. #video #offsetaccounts #lending #reels
