Being able to measure how successful your brand marketing is, is important in understanding how you're doing and how to move forward. It's hard to reflect and make action plans when you don't know what your brand health metrics are. For brands, here are some helpful early measurements, thanks to MarTech: -- Share of search, unranked keyword phrases -- Site traffic and conversion to your growth goals -- Social engagement still overrated, but digital reach and customer service are our foci If you aren't on board with your metrics, it's a good idea to start. This is the custom dashboard we use for digital-video brand campaigns. It has 4 sections that let you track different goals… AWARENESS The top left quadrant shows videos that are being fully watched, but not engaged with. This is great for changing brand perceptions or just increasing awareness and familiarity. CONSIDERATION Videos that not only get watched but engaged with are gold. These are the MVP videos that you want to iterate and A/B test. CONVERSION Typically, shorter videos with stronger calls to action will end up driving more clicks and conversions. It's rare that your 60s 'hero' brand video will be in this quadrant, but that's OK. NOT PERFORMING This is the kill zone. Videos that aren't being watched or engaged with should be cut. Funnel that spend into increase awareness or consideration, depending on your campaign goals.
