?? Future-proofing Denmark’s electricity grid: major framework agreement announced? ?? Gelem Del Mar and I are happy to share that yesterday, Siemens Energy and Energinet announced a 1.4 billion Euro (10.5 billion DKK) framework agreement to renew Denmark’s energy infrastructure. The agreement is centered on the western region of Denmark, where around 50 new or reinforced 150 kV high-voltage substations are scheduled for construction or expansion within the next 8 years. As part of this major infrastructure plan, Siemens Energy will deliver transformers and switchgears for high-voltage #substations over the next eight years. With this partnership we take another step forward on our long-standing partnership with Danish Energinet, and support Denmark’s goal of reaching net zero emissions by 2045. ??
