Imagine a skyscraper that brings nature into the heart of a concrete city - this is exactly what the Pan Pacific Orchard in Singapore achieves. Recently named the Best Tall Building Worldwide by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat, this architectural marvel combines breathtaking design with environmental vision. The 350-room hotel is far from your typical high-rise. Its fa?ade features four enormous terraces, each with a unique theme - forest, beach, garden and cloud - creating a lush, vertical paradise in the sky. These terraces function as sheltered outdoor spaces, enhancing the guest experience while cross-ventilating the building’s interiors. Imagine taking a dip in a surreal swimming pool surrounded by greenery or relaxing in expansive lounge areas with mirrored ceilings that amplify the sensation of space, almost like stepping into a scene from a science fiction film. With a green plot ratio exceeding 300%, Pan Pacific Orchard serves as a model for what future urban developments can aspire to be: vertical green spaces that benefit both people and the planet.
