The need for developers, and others, to software companies are picking up again! What is your strategy for not being left behind? Have you found an effective solution to integrate people worldwide? How about cultural gaps, time zones and language barriers? Why are developers and others resisting something that already smells like outsourcing to a lowcost country? The reasons are many and the problems I mentioned are just the tip of the iceberg. Still, the solution is so simple that it takes a while to grasp the full implications. Once you do, then you have a clear understanding of how you can recruit people with the right skills anywhere in the world and how they will succeed just like local employees have done forever. The only hard part is that this requires expertise in the remote end and that service providers are few and far between.

Fort Worth 10. Columbus The 5th - 15th most populated cities in America… Empty. There are over 1.7M software developer job vacancies in the US. That shortage isn’t going away anytime soon. Moving software development outside of IT with citizen developers and scaling output with low-code tools are the best ways for businesses to overcome this talent shortage.
