Well, I finally bit the bullet and got a Samsung Fold - you know, that phone that opens like a book to become a mini tablet. Keeping in mind specifically that I need to be super-responsive to emails 24/7, here are the pros/cons: Pros ----- # Multitasking Being able to open my Inbox on one side, and the SyncHub web app on the other, is absolutely brilliant. No more switching back/forth between apps to follow a customer's issue or use case. You can also save panel combinations, so if I'm in "work mode", I just hit a single button and voila - ready to go. BONUS: you can also have two different *websites* open side by side in different browsers. # Larger screen for websites The SyncHub app has a few pages which are pretty technical and take up a lot of real-estate where a mobile view just isn't practical - especially the screens that I use to help with customer questions. Being able to expand the site to a larger screen makes it so much quicker to work on. # Larger keyboard I *hhhaaaaaatteeeeee* hunching over a virtual keyboard on my phone. At least now it's slightly (double) larger and therefore a bit easier to use. # Smaller front screen Most reviews complain that the Fold's screen is too small when closed. I measure it against my old S21 and it's about 3mm narrower. Honestly - I love it. Yes, technically the keyboard is slightly more cramped, but it just feels nicer in your hand, and smaller in your pocket. I actually tested the Pixel 9 Pro Fold at the same time, and found this to be way too big. Cons ------ # Price and fragility - especially with two tech-savvy kids lurking around. I bought a little suit for it, but it's not very flattering and bulks up an already bigger phone That's it - I just sat for 30 seconds trying to think of something else I don't like, but nothing comes to mind.
