James 1:27 shows us true religion in God's eyes. Instead of doing rituals and sacrifices to show our beliefs and how "spiritual" we are, we should instead do as Jesus did and care for the widows and orphans to show the pure heart of God. As the light in darkness and disparity we are doing just that. We must not let the world influence and discourage us. We extend a huge thank you to Assistance League of Atlanta, which has recently partnered with 3Keys to donate essential items for our residents. This partnership means that our residents—many of whom arrive with little to nothing more than the clothes they are wearing—will receive welcome kits with new bedding, shower shoes, pots and pans, laundry pods, towels, and much more. Assistance League of Atlanta is also assisting with our activities program by donating supplies that enable us to continue offering meaningful activities for our residents.
