We've gathered here today to say our final farewells to everyone's favorite marketing buzzkill: "We've always done it that way." ?? This phrase has killed more big ideas and new business than any competitor could. It's the ultimate wet blanket, dumping ice-cold water on creativity every time it's uttered. Here's the truth: sticking to the status quo because it's "safe" is the fastest way to get left behind—especially if your industry tends to move at the speed of snails.
