One of Katie’s signature traits is her ability and willingness to try anything new in the spirit of helping students with their education. Whether it’s utilizing Minecraft, which Katie used in her math lessons to engage with students or creating cross-curricular activities with her ELA triad teacher, Katie’s passion is unparalleled. Katie’s number one classroom rule is there is no failure, but rather learning experiences and she preaches to never be afraid to be wrong.
