Here's a great article that spells out the continued need for accessible micromobility in our transportation systems. It identifies some of the obstacles to that, but also mentions solutions including that provided by re:Charge . I hope to see more real world deployments of this soon. Which bike systems, RTAs, and municipalities will be on the forefront of this transition?

Great write up on re:Charge and the impact universal charging can have on operations. Given shared micromobility contracts are so short it's no wonder shared mobility companies, especially those in markets with multiple operators, have not yet fielded a charging solution that can reduce their costs and improve operations. Is 3rd party charging as a service the future?

Gravity, a New York-based EV infrastructure startup, has launched a new line of universal 500kW EV charger "trees" designed for curbside charging on city streets. These charger trees feature a hinged swing arm that can reach any EV's charging port, eliminating tripping hazards. Gravity aims to deploy these chargers widely, targeting a street charging network larger than Tesla's Supercharger network. The chargers require no utility upgrades and can provide up to 200 miles of range in just 5 minutes, enabling rapid turnover of parking spaces. #500kWcharging?#curbsidecharging #onstreetcharging #fastEVcharging #EVinfrastructure #smartcities #urbanmobility #sustainablemobility #zeroemissions #chargingrevolution #futuremobility https://lnkd.in/gZBnmyvB
