It's Audit time for a lot of Profitual's clients right now. How much should these cost a start-up? First thing to know is that the year-end review can come in many forms. Every client we have opts for a Review Engagement over an Audit. The Review Engagement gives comfort that the financial statements are correct, but doesn't go into the more lengthy, time consuming, and more expensive review of a formal audit. Costs vary greatly and can be affected by who you use to complete the work, but also how up to date everything is on the start-ups end. Average costs we see are in the $5K-$20K range. The providers that our clients love working with include: -Teed Saunders Doyle Keith McQueen -Pluggedin CPA Alana Nicklin, CPA -Grant Thornton Shane Snow, CPA CA Allix Harvey, CPA Want an Intro? Shoot me a note and we can make it happen!
