#2001: Completed by Bachelor's just post the Dot Com Bust. Had two campus placement offers - Infosys (Dream Job for any parent at that time) and Lucent Technologies (Bell Labs - the Dream Role for any CSE Engineer) and while Infosys decided to defer our joining and Lucent bailed out with a nice bonus. I did a few interesting things on the side until Infosys brought us on board 9 months later. #2008: Completed by MBA as the world entered the subprime mortgage crisis. Finding a job in Finance (which incidentally was my major) was out of question. Gave a honest shot to my first startup before joining Mu Sigma Inc. and the exciting world of #Analytics I thought I was jinxed then. How could I be in the batch that graduates into one recession after the other? #2020: I had a biz. doing pretty well as we entered the next major crisis. Things won't be so bad or at least that's what I thought. Fought through the crisis as an entrepreneur and just as we were rounding the bend and things were picking up, the rug was pulled from under my feet by my co-promoters. Needless to say, like in the past when I've won each battle with the support of friends & family and many well-wishers / angels in disguise and this time will be no different. #LifeTeachesLessons #BounceBackBetter
