Rainforest Trust, with partner Rare Brasil, recently completed the protection of over 180,000 acres of mangrove forest in Brazil—part of the largest, most intact contiguous belt of mangroves in the world.? ? The protection of this habitat is an exciting win for the Amazon, for the traditional fishing communities of this region, for the fisheries themselves and for the climate. ? ?
