When it comes to organizations that have helped me in my young professional career, Parker Dewey is at the top. They have provided me with the opportunity to expand my skillset through their Micro-Internships. Micro-Internships are short-term, paid, professional projects that allow college students or recent graduates to explore companies and careers while building experience. From June 2022 to January 2023, I worked with two different companies on video editing projects, with a bit of marketing as well. These two companies were in two different industries, but I was still able to carry over my skills and keep improving. I was also able to get to know my supervisors and learned about what made they get up in the morning. Best of all, they allowed me to gain professional experience while getting paid at a nice rate.
