Much of my professional growth has come from rubbing shoulders with other Owner Operator entrepreneurs. I’m talking years of relationships built, connections made, and deals done! How Ayush landed a role at Coinbase (0.1% acceptance rate) with Confidence After months of frustration applying to his dream companies: He started his intentional job search program. → He tried applying randomly on LinkedIn. → He watched countless YouTube videos on product sense. → He thought I could wing the behavioral interviews. But nothing worked. → Fast forward: He landed a product manager role at Coinbase. → He now leads the advanced trade team with confidence. → He has the skills to land a new role forever. (Here’s the exact framework he used, and you can steal it for free.) Here’s the 3-step breakdown below: Step 1:Build a Signature Leadership Narrative → This narrative differentiates you from other candidates. → Companies don’t just hire product experts; they hire strategic leaders. → If your story doesn’t make you stand out, you’ll get lost in a sea of applications. Example: He developed 5 core stories and learned how to zoom in and out of them for multiple interview questions. This saved me time and made my answers powerful. Proof: It helped him crack Coinbase's intense interviews, including a presentation to top leadership. Lesson learned: It’s not about having more technical skills—it's about positioning yourself as a leader. --- Step 2: Structure Your Job Search Like a Product Roadmap → Treat your job search as a product launch—random efforts yield random results. → Create a step-by-step process for interviews, product sense, and behavioral prep. → Use live feedback from current interviewers to fine-tune your approach. Example: He followed a step-by-step curriculum and regularly attended live mock interviews with senior PMs from Google and Meta. Lesson learned: It’s not about random prep—it’s about following a proven process. --- Step 3: Optimize Your LinkedIn & Resume for Inbound Opportunities → Your LinkedIn and resume are your 24/7 sales team—don’t underestimate them. → Refine your story so that recruiters come to you, not the other way around. → Regularly update and optimize to reflect your leadership narrative. Proof: The responses to his applications started multiplying.
