The past weeks have been heavy, watching the impact of these fires on our Southern California neighbors. These times remind us why we do what we do: Creating comfortable, resilient homes isn't just about technology, it's about people and community. And while we had planned to launch Quilt in LA this month, our neighbors are facing much bigger challenges right now. We'll be returning in spring, but in the meantime, we wanted to highlight some of the organizations our friends and partners have launched that are doing the vital work of helping the community rebuild. If you can help or know someone who needs support, please share. ?? Lauren Reyes Lim and LVR STUDIOS is offering free one-hour video consultations to help victims who have lost their homes create spaces that feel like home again. ?? Tommy Lei's Artist Fire Relief Fund (https://lnkd.in/e9uPJ8Jn) is directly supporting LA's creative community, helping artists who've lost their studios and irreplaceable work find their footing again. ?? Home Bank LA (https://homebankla.org/) is providing emergency financial assistance and critical support services to residents, ensuring our neighbors can stay housed and stable during this challenging time. ?? Team Rubicon's (https://lnkd.in/dcv925Z) veteran volunteers are bringing their unique expertise to disaster response, working tirelessly on the ground to support immediate relief and long-term recovery. ?? Habitat LA (https://www.habitatla.org/) is providing critical disaster relief services to homeowners impacted by the fires, including emergency repairs, rebuilding assistance, and relief supplies. Their Disaster Relief Program specifically helps low-income families restore safe, stable housing. Our hearts are with LA. ??
